Ronit Glickman, Kindergarten

Mrs. Glickman was born in Jerusalem, Israel and raised in Santa Rosa, CA.  She has a B.A. in Art History and Economics and completed her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Sonoma State University.  Before joining SRFACS she was a Reading Specialist working with emerging readers.  She is an insightful teacher with a nurturing personality.  She is passionate about working with children and loves to integrate art, literature, and movement into her hands-on learning classroom.  In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband and two daughters.  Mrs. Glickman is very excited to be part of the SRFACS community!

Dianna Darrow, Transitional Kindergarten and First Grade

Mrs. Darrow is from the Golden State of California where she has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials with CLAD. She has taught in San Diego, CA for three years as a visiting teacher, and taught English and Science to Sixth Graders. She was part of Learning On the Go, which allowed her to fully embed technology into her classroom curriculum. Mrs. Darrow is looking forward to  sharing her enthusiasm and passion for teaching English with the SRFACS community.

Kathie Veillette, 2nd and 3rd Grades

Ms. Veillette was born in Maine and raised in California where she earned a degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing at San Francisco State University. She later attended CSU Hayward, receiving her multiple-subject teaching credential. After student teaching in Oakland, California, she was hired as a 2nd grade teacher. Ms. Veillette worked for over 2 years with Oakland’s diverse range of students with varied needs. During her teaching career, Ms. Veillette has volunteered as her school’s healthy living liaison, produce market coordinator, and also took a position as an after school program tutor in order to learn more about improving the whole child. Ms. Veillette most enjoys reading, writing, art and traveling. Her most recent visits were to Thailand and Costa Rica. She hopes to inspire SRFACS students to be lifelong explorers in and out of books.
