Virginia RuppertVirginia Ruppert, Sixth Grade French Teacher

Virginia was born in Strasbourg, Alsace. After her baccalaureate, she obtained a Masters in comparative literature at the University of Strasbourg. She worked as an attendant for junior high schools and was a substitute teacher in other colleges so she could get a better base for her career teaching.  After passing her teaching exams from the French Educational Ministry she went on to work as an English teacher for eight years in Alsace and two additional years in the suburbs of Paris in a professional high school. She returned to Strasbourg to teach in a private high school as a French teacher for four years.

Virginia likes to take on new challenges while integrating herself into new structures that give her the opportunity to evaluate new ways of teaching and evaluating students.  She always tries to stay current and to find modern and playful methods to make my classes fun and less daunting.

She is always in a good mood; likes to travel, read, draw, and enjoys photography.
