Mrs. SpitaClémence Spita - French Teacher (2B)              

Mme. Spita was born in France and raised in the Poitou Charente area near La Rochelle. She studied at the University of Poitiers where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  Mme. Spita then relocated to California with her husband where she taught French to young children and adults for four years. She decided to pursue a career in Education and received her teaching credentials from California State University in San Diego. Mme. Spita combines her passion for the French culture and technology to bring a dynamic approach to the French language into the classroom. Her enthusiasm, energy, and excitement to teach children about French culture will greatly contribute to the success of SRFACS.

 


Carrey Christelle Carrey - French Teacher (2A) 

Mme. Carrey is from Normandy where she attended a bilingual high school. Then she studied Biology at the Sciences University of Rouen. After that, she obtained a bachelor degree in education with completion of a teacher certification program.  Since 2008, she has taught multilevel classes from TK to fifth grade and also a special education class for teenagers. She likes to encourage her students to become independent and to trust themselves. The well-being of her students is one of her priorities. Her desire is to help all the students to attain their full potential.  In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, and traveling with her husband Bertrand and their children. RenardLucie Renard - French Teacher (2C)     

Mme. Renard is from Burgundy. After high school, she studied English and Education Sciences at DIJON University. Then she obtained a bachelor’s degree in education with completion of a teacher certification program. Since 2009, she has taught multilevel classes from TK to fifth grade. She attaches great importance to well-being at school and likes to make her students happy to come to school every day. She enjoys practicing yoga, meditation and relaxation and she tries to set up this kind of practice to allow her students to be more willing in their learning. During her free time, she likes cooking, skiing, reading, hiking in nature and traveling with her family.
