Zeynep Brockett, French Teacher (3C) Mrs. Brockett grew up bilingual in Turkey and attended the French school of Ankara from preschool on. After graduating from the Lycée Français d’Ankara, she went to college in France and obtained her Ph.D in Economics from Université Paris-Ouest. She then taught and conducted research at Bilkent University in Ankara, Columbia University in New York City and UC Berkeley in the Bay Area. After having her children, she got involved in the education of younger children through homeschooling, designing and managing a democratic after-school program and coaching Odyssey of the Mind. She traveled extensively on four continents, speaks four languages and has a passion for mathematics and creative thinking.
Ronit Glickman, English Teacher
Mrs. Glickman was born in Jerusalem, Israel and raised in Santa Rosa, CA. She has a B.A. in Art History and Economics and completed her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Sonoma State University. Before joining SRFACS she was a Reading Specialist working with emerging readers. She is an insightful teacher with a nurturing personality. She is passionate about working with children and loves to integrate art, literature, and movement into her hands-on learning classroom. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Mrs. Glickman is very excited to be part of the SRFACS community!
